Project Galaxy hit the ground running for the start of Q2 2022 with a handful of announcements and events. From campaigns and partnerships to new features meant to expand our community and ecosystem, here are a few of our highlights as we start the second quarter of the year.

Project Galaxy’s co-founder, Harry Zhang, hosted a live Youtube session with Dora Hacks of Hackathon. The live session focused on leveraging credential data in developing Web3 applications.

NodeReal, a blockchain platform that provides instant, reliable, and scalable infrastructure to DApp developers, announced its giveaway campaign with Project Galaxy to reward early adopters. The campaign is NodeReal’s first-ever NFT and Mystery box giveaway campaign and will be comprised of three tiers of loyalty NFT mystery boxes containing various benefits.

People DAO announced its first OAT campaign with Project Galaxy. The campaign, which runs from 10th April 2022 to 11th May 2022, rewards 10 members of the People DAO community with 1000 $PEOPLE tokens. Participants need to complete a series of tasks to qualify for eligibility.

As part of our dedication to security across the ecosystem, Project Galaxy has announced that community members can now verify their Discord accounts on GalaxyID. We are also currently working on a feature that allows members to claim earned Galaxy OATs from Discord events.

Since its inception, Project Galaxy has aided a wide range of blockchain projects to facilitate community growth and adoption. Two major projects that will now be powered by Project Galaxy are Mintverse and Solana, presenting excellent case studies for potential future implementations.

Mintverse used Project Galaxy’s infrastructure and network to host many campaigns alongside other blockchain projects. This cooperation also birthed the BNB Chain NFT Spring Carnival. The carnival aimed to grow each participating project along with its communities and ecosystem. These campaigns had more than 11,500 participants and saw over 500K impressions on the Mintverse Twitter account, including a 21.4K increase in follower count.

With a prize pool of $1,000,000, Project Galaxy partnered with Solana to host the “2022 is gonna be SOL Cool” campaign. It was an inclusive multi-chain event that brought 27 different protocols together and helped them reach their community growth targets. Before Solana, Project Galaxy was already operating on 6 different blockchains. The SOL partnership is the first time we have integrated a non-EVM (Ethereum Virtual Machine) blockchain.
