As we prepare for the $GAL token generation event, Project Galaxy continues to check off more than a few milestones, successfully concluded events, campaigns, and partnerships as our ecosystem grows. Here are some of the most significant activities we’ve engaged in over the last two weeks.

Introducing Jeremy Lin NFTs presented by Reel8 on Project Galaxy
Former NBA star Jeremy Lin, along with Reel8 and Project Galaxy will be dropping his first NFT to support the Asian American community. Project Galaxy is proud to play a part in this initiative by distributing allowlist spots through a series of campaigns. More information on how to claim your allowlist spot here.
Project Galaxy at the Paris Blockchain Summit
The Project Galaxy team attended the Paris Blockchain Week Summit from Tuesday, April 12, to Thursday, April 14. We distributed Galaxy OATs (on-chain achievement tokens) to attendees who found the Project Galaxy booth and met the team in person.
Project Galaxy's DAO Governance Process
We have outlined the Project Galaxy DAO governance process, which includes three required steps before any proposal implementation. Phase 1 is an informal Temperature Check to determine public opinion on the proposal, while Phase 2 is the Draft Proposal for formal discussion. Project Galaxy will then implement the proposal if it passes the Phase 3 voting stage. The governance process will take effect after the $GAL token generation event.
Galaxy Docs Overview
We have merged the Galaxy Protocol Overview, Help Center Guides, Developer Docs, and DAO Governance Proposals into unified Galaxy Docs. The documents are now open for continuous community contribution. We are also working on a community multilingual translation option that will soon be available for our international user base.
Case Study: Project Galaxy End-of-Year Campaign
After a long, exciting, and successful year for Project Galaxy, we wanted to show appreciation to all members of our community for sticking by us, participating in all of our campaigns, and contributing to our success. The result was the End-of-Year rave, where more than 7,200 community members claimed the Galaxy Girl and Reindeer NFTs.
Project Galaxy Q1 Recap
The first quarter of the year had many exciting events, including Project Galaxy reaching new heights, many successfully completed campaigns, and a multitude of partnerships. We hit 243,000 Twitter followers, over 114,000 Discord members, and more than 12,200 active subscribers on Telegram. We also achieved 1.2 million registered Galaxy ID users and 319,000 unique on-chain users. On top of that, Project Galaxy has almost 350 involved protocols spread across seven blockchains that use our services, highlighting our continued expansion into the blockchain, DeFi, NFT, and general crypto ecosystems.
Port 3 Special NFT and USDT Giveaway
Project Galaxy teamed up with Web3 social data gateway Port3 for a special NFT and USDT giveaway. Users claimed unlimited Port3 x Galaxy NFTs on Project Galaxy after redeeming loyalty points. The special giveaway also featured a 5,000 $USDT pool shared by 200 users.
NodeReal and Project Galaxy Infrastructure Partnership
The first quarter also saw a Project Galaxy partnership with Web3 infrastructure provider NodeReal. This partnership provides Project Galaxy with access to NodeReal’s RPC/API services, archive node, and other services. The secure network infrastructure will help to improve productivity by reducing downtime.
Arbitrum Odyssey with Project Galaxy
Arbitrum is inviting users to explore its DeFi and NFT ecosystem. In collaboration with Project Galaxy and crypto artist Ratwell, Arbitrum launched a 2-month initiative that allows users to experience the platform’s on-chain projects. Participants will receive NFTs designed by Ratwell & Sugoi.
Arc Finance Testnet Airdrop Campaign
The Arc Finance trade-to-earn platform launched a testnet airdrop campaign with Project Galaxy. The campaign allowed users to claim exclusive OATs by completing Gleam tasks. Arc Finance’s giveaway began on April 19 and permits OAT claims at 2 AM (UTC) every day after the snapshot.
SeekTiger: OAT Giveaway
NFT, DAO, and GameFi aggregation platform SeekTiger is celebrating its list of over 60 VCs and platforms. SeekTiger tapped Project Galaxy to create a special OAT giveaway redeemable after completing specific Gleam tasks. Participants can claim the OATs for free.
Francium: Talent Express Art Competition
Francium has launched an art-based competition where creators can participate with entries ranging from funny videos and songs to banners, paintings, and stickers. The DeFi strategy platform’s team will assess all entries and reward users participating in the “Talent Express Train” depending on their scores. The prize pool comprises several exciting options, including USDC and a Project Galaxy-powered NFT.
Project Galaxy and Space ID
Universal identifier protocol SpaceID has launched its first SpaceID Badge NFT powered by Project Galaxy. Early supporters interested in claiming a badge must complete a Gleam task. Eligible users can claim badges on Project Galaxy.
